IMPORTANT!!!!!! MEETING CANCELLED tonight. Apologies but the 6pm meeting in Lybster, to discuss the proposed management structure, will not go ahead due to the weather.

Children in Need

 

Friday 18^th November

Bakes and Shake Break – Milkshake and Baking ( made by P4 – 7 pupils) will be on sale at break time.  Milkshake for 30p and Bakes from 20p.

Dress up or Down – Pay £1 to dress up or down for the day.

Rickshaw Cart-Pull Challenge – The P4 – 7 pupils will be taking part in a sponsored cart- pull. Please donate or sponsor them per lap.

Pudsey Merchandise will be on sale.

P1 – 3 will partake in some fun Pudsey activities.

BIKE HELMETS A MUST!

For safety reasons all pupils who opt to play on the bikes or with the carts must wear a bike helmet.  We have a limited number of helmets in school and would strongly advise pupils to bring in their own helmets to school.

Also as the Caithness weather becomes colder please could you ensure your child comes to school with suitable outdoor clothing.  Unless the weather is severe then they will be out playing.

Term 1 Open Afternoon

This Wednesday from 2.15pm onwards. All parents and carers are invited into their child’s classroom. Come along and see what they have been learning about this term and catch up with the class teacher.

Baking stall tomorrow

PE kit needed for tomorrow. Both classes have football.

Outdoor Play

The children are enjoying playing in puddles and running around in the rain. Please ensure that your children come to school with suitable clothing for the weather. See out Wet Weather section for more information.

SCHOOL TOMORROW

We hope that you have all enjoyed the summer break. School starts tomorrow at 9:30am. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back!

Sports Afternoon followed by Prize Giving

Sports Afternoon is at 2 pm followed by afternoon tea and prize giving..

CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD

We would love all family and friends to join us in the school hall on Monday afternoon (21st December 2015) for our short show about Christmas Around the World. The children will take to the stage at 2:30pm to tell you all about their learning this term with dialogue, dance and song.  Afterwards we would love you to stay for a cup of tea and a winter treat.
